Although
Pakistan consists of numerous distinguished universities, this article focuses
on the top 5 universities in Pakistan offering undergraduate programs. For
this, we have studied the world university rankings according to which the top
universities are as follows;
- Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS)
This
the university offers the prospective students only 2 BS programs i.e. BS
Electrical Engineering and BS in Mechanical Engineering. The competition is
extremely high in this university because there are only 120 seats available
for the BS candidates and every student wants to get admission here. This is one
of the most research-intensive universities in Pakistan.
- National University of Sciences And Technology (NUST) Islamabad
This
the innovative university offers a combination of undergraduate programs e.g. Engineering,
Information Technology (IT), Medical and Management Sciences. This
university is dedicated to the provision of Leadership qualities. It fulfills
the need of the country’s scientific needs and progress of indigenous technology.
- Quaid-i-Azam University
This
the university offers a large number of BS programs under the domain of three
faculties i.e. Faculty of Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Faculty of
Social Sciences. It attracts a large number of students providing aid in the
advancement of technology.
- Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)

of this university is known for its beauty and glamor. It is a leading
university which offers a plethora of BS programs e.g. Electrical Engineering,
Computer Science, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Laws etc. This
university is more famous for its business studies.
- COMSATS University Islamabad
This
university offers not only BS degree programs in the field of Science, Engineering
and Technology but also well-known in fields of Architecture and Design,
